At the heart of Fondazione Bonomo, the ancient rooms are transformed into a museum space dedicated to the figure of Frederick II of Swabia and his connection to Puglia. The Museo Federiciano was created to offer an immersive experience, bringing the history of Emperor Stupor Mundi to life through themed rooms that intertwine battles, castles, falconry, and culture. A path enriched by historical reconstructions that transport the visitor on a unique journey through time.

It is impossible to talk about Frederick II without mentioning Castel del Monte, the mysterious manor that stands a few steps from the Foundation’s headquarters. Symbol of an era of grandeur and still unsolved mysteries, the castle represents the heart of a profound bond between the Emperor, the city of Andria, and his land. A meeting place of cultures, a crossroads of history and legend, Castel del Monte continues to be the object of study and wonder, an expression of a heritage that the Foundation has chosen to showcase through the Museum.

Why this museum was born
Since the Second World War, the Bonomo Foundation has always stood out for its dedication and care for individuals and the community. After welcoming and supporting hundreds of young people and promoting social activities, the Foundation decided to open a new chapter in the pursuit of culture and the enhancement of the local area. With the creation of the Federiciano Museum, it renews its commitment to preserving historical memory and offering a place where past and present meet, in the name of knowledge, beauty, and the identity of Andria and Puglia.
