The foundation
Founded in 1984 and officially recognized as a non-profit organization in 1986, Fondazione Bonomo aims to promote the community’s culture.
Its headquarters, nestled in the Murgia landscape at the foot of Castel del Monte, has always been a hub for educational and cultural initiatives.
Today, it enters a new phase: a space equipped for events, courses, and conferences, available to organizations, associations, schools, and agencies seeking an authentic place to cultivate ideas and knowledge.
When love meets culture, a place is born that preserves identity, roots, and future. Here, the land becomes home, and memory becomes family.

The foundation
Established in 1949, Fondazione Bonomo has gone through decades of commitment and transformation to care for the land and the people who live in it.
The structure
The facility of Fondazione Bonomo is located within a green area of more than 5,500sqm surrounded by the quiet countryside.
The museum
At the heart of Fondazione Bonomo, the ancient rooms are transformed into a museum space dedicated to the figure of Frederick II of Swabia and his connection to Puglia.
The Barn
Created from a renovated old barn, the Conference Room of Fondazione Bonomo combines the charm of rural tradition with modern technological equipment.
The Museum
A story of hospitality, territory, and shared memory
A place that holds stories. Fondazione Bonomo museum takes visitors on a journey through the identities that have passed through this area: from distant eras, marked also by the presence of Frederick II, to the cultural legacy left by Vincenzo and Franco Bonomo.
Through maps, period objects, and visual testimonies, the museum provides a vivid portrait of the context in which the Foundation was founded and operated. A narrative that intertwines territory, family, and culture, capable of inspiring students, schools, families, and curious travelers.
It is not just an archive of objects, but a place where hospitality becomes a story and the lives lived become common heritage.
The Barn
Our conference room
Created from a renovated old barn, the Conference Room of Fondazione Bonomo combines the charm of rural tradition with modern technological equipment. With a capacity of 80 seats, it is designed to host meetings, presentations, trainings and cultural events.
